    I am just another minnow in the sea, but I'm trying to improve our community. I have started putting posts up on several games looking for groups. I'll provide an example below. (Example of my post): "Hey You!�� If you are having a hard time, it's not forever. You're never alone. If you need someone to talk to, or even just listen. I'm here. If I don't get back to you right away, DM my Instagram @**************** ,and I'll get back to you ASAP."

    I started doing this Saturday, and have talked with around 70 people so far. I was motivated to do this by my personal experiences. I believe that alot of gamers, spend more than what doctors consider an addicted amount of time online, and with that being said we spend that time secluded/alone. Alot of people use gaming as an escape from reality, that meaning were trying to escape something in the real world. Whether that be Anxiety, Depression, or a stressful work environment, when people are alone their minds wonder. A person's mind can be a deep hole to dive into, leading to all kinds of thoughts. I see this as the perfect time to reach out, and provide a safer environment, a time to remind them that they are not alone. I don't have everything figured out yet, but I am trying, and that's how things happen. You have to start somewhere, in order to eventually reach your destination. I chose to start on Xbox looking for group posts, and plan to spread to all social media platforms. I have created an Instagram where people can reach me when I'm not on Xbox, and I am putting together a team that is building a discord. I expect many challenges to get in our way along our journey, so to overcome them I am asking for the communities opinions/suggestions. All responses are welcome as long as they follow Microsoft's terms of service. If you made it this far I want to thankyou for taking an interest in our mission, and I hope to see our community continue to improve with time.

    You may want to be careful with that as LFG posts are only meant to be for looking for others for playing games with. So while you're trying to do good, if someone decides to report the post, the enforcement team may just see that you're trying to advertise your Instagram and issue a suspension.

    Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



    Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



    1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

    Solution 2: Try setting up manual DNS settings before sending the request.

    1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings >> manual

    2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

    3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220

    Solution 3: Please try setting up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connect the console to the hotspot connection. Try sending the request after that and see if it works.

    Solution 4: Do a factory reset.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

    3. Select Reset console.

    4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

    If you have done all the steps above, please log in to your account at this link, account.live.com/reputationcheck.

    Make sure you signed in with the account you're having trouble with.

    Enter your phone number and restart your console. Once it is back on, try sending a request and see if it works.
