XBOX Player Voice Feedback - 5/20/26

Naming other Gamertags is not allowed in the forums... However if you wish to report the person, here are the steps:

1.Press the Guide button on your controller.

2.Select Friends, and then go to the Players tab.

3.Select File Complaint. Then, select File Complaint again on the next screen.

4.Select one of the following general reasons for filing the complaint: ◦Profile: The player's gamertag, personal picture, or personal information contains inappropriate material.

◦Text and Voice Communications: The player used vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening language in voice or text communications.

◦Video Communications: The player was vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening in video communication.

◦Tampering: The player tampered with a game, an Xbox 360 console, Xbox LIVE, or the feedback system.

5.Select one of the following specific reasons for filing the complaint: ◦Profile: Gamertag, Personal Picture, Personal Info, Player Content

◦Text and Voice Communications: Text Message, Voice Message, Voice Chat, In-Game Voice

◦Video Communications: Picture Message, Video Chat

◦Tampering: Feedback Tampering, System Tampering, Cheating

6.Select File Complaint. (Or select Don’t File if you decide not to file the complaint.)

None of the volunteeers here can do anything with a complaint. Instead, you may report conduct thusly:

Reporting a Player

To report a player you will need to follow these steps.

◦Scroll right to Players, then select the user.

◦From a game lobby: Select the user.

◦Select View Profile.

◦Select File Complaint.

◦Review the information here and when you’re ready, select File Complaint again.

◦Select one of the following reasons for filing the complaint: Text Message, Voice Message ,Voice Chat In-Game Voice , or others that may apply to the issue.

I would suggest that you if you believe a player has violated the Xbox live code of conduct, you should file a complaint.

Why would there be ?

Give us hc players 20 game modes and core players 5 and see how quickly the numbers would change.

File a complaint against another player

If you feel that an Xbox LIVE player has violated the Xbox LIVE Code of Conduct, you can file a complaint against that player. If a game has a complaint option, you can file a complaint from within the game. Refer to the documentation that came with the
game for instructions. You can also follow the steps below.

Note If the player hasn’t violated the code of conduct but you want to avoid them, consider filing a player review.

Note Filing a complaint won't mute, block, or help you to avoid a player.
