    I limited my sons time to one hour per day. It seems he played longer then an hour without interruption. Is there a way to see how long someone has been on it while they are playing, not just after?

    Too bad. Seems like this could be accomplished fairly easily. Just like cell phone use.

    Is there no easy way to tell how much time my child played on Xbox (hours, minutes) on a given day?

    xbox play time

    if you go to the family page you can check on the stats used in real time.

    Microsoft account | Your family

    Go to Family page

    select the child

    click on activity

    and then click on recent activity.

    That should give you some information.

    If there is a time limit set, there is no way he can play past the time unless he is playing a game that doesn't require him to sign in. Games like Fifa do not make you sign in so that circumvents the screen-limits.

    Like tohellnback mentioned, times are way off. Forza 5 reads that I have over a couple hundred hours played; more like 40 tops.

    the times will be off FYI. Open games in background while doing other things still count for times played. I had games tell me I played them for 1500 hours so dont be surprised if they seem way off.
