Discus and support XBOX Play Anywhere? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I purchased Forza Horizon 3 digital download code from Amazon.     XBOX Play Anywhere?


    I purchased Forza Horizon 3 digital download code from Amazon. Was able to redeem the code on XBOX.com and have successfully downloaded it to Xbox. Love playing it.

    I want to take advantage of Play Anywhere but there is no place to download the game. Windows Store says I own the product but there is no download link/button.

    How do I get the game for Windows 10?

    Xbox Play Anywhere games can be purchased in the Xbox Store, the Windows Store, or via a digital code at participating retailers. To take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, you need to install the
    Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC. The game will appear in “My Library” section of your Windows 10 PC.



    If you are having issues with finding or downloading the game, we recommend that you get in touch with our
    Xbox Support team to verify if the code you have redeemed is an XPA game.

    Why cant I access all my games I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR on the Xbox360 digital store on my PC?

    Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 games not all of them are a play anywhere game.

    What about the Steam licensing? I have honestly not looked much into it. Is there something that Steam does that would stop that from happening? I guess Steam could have some clause that prevents it. If so, not a fan of that myself. Not a fan when any
    company does that. Just make a great platform and sell it. I understand that doing things to block the competition is good business. I just like having the options.

    @Guerrero That would be awesome but I think the whole Steam licensing thing holds that up as they are competing services. I was talking about this with a guy I work with the other day.

    Just be aware that you need the Win 10 Anniversary edition of the OS to enable Play Anywhere. It took me about 3 hours to download and "upgrade" the earlier version of Win 10 on my PC yesterday to enable the download button in the Windows store so I could
    get the PC copy I was entitled to.
