    Xbox Play Anywhere Trouble


    So I am trying the "Xbox Play Anywhere" tactic with a game but when I go to download it on PC I cant find my device and I cant register it even though its a Windows 10 device (HP Envy x360). The xbox version says purchased but the PC version is not (obviously). This device however, IS linked to my Microsoft Account and from what I have read, it should be possible to play that game on PC after already buying it on Xbox (Fallout 76). Any help would be appreciated I just need to know how to register this device and download through the "Xbox Play Anywhere" ordeal.

    The Pc version of the game cannot be downloaded unless you purchase that version through: Fallout 76 - PC - Microsoft Store or by subscribing to Game Pass for PC.

    Regarding your question, I am not sure I understood what you exactly meant.

    If you are talking about the save data, then no it will not transfer as this requires the game to be Play Anywhere.

    The game is not Play Anywhere, so you would need to purchase the PC version to play in on your laptop!

    Thank you for your response. It seems the game is not added to your account, here are steps on how to add Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox app:

    1. Launch Xbox app.

    2. Click Any Games.

    3. You will see a button on the upper right side for you to add the game.

    *You can also go to account.microsoft.com to login into your account and check if you have successfully purchased the game.
