Xbox performance,how do I make it better

Let's perform troubleshooting steps on your console but please let me know if you have already performed the steps so we can proceed to the next steps needed.

If an external hard drive is plugged into your console, please unplug your external hard drive for us to determine what is causing this issue. Please do not plug in your external hard drive while we perform troubleshooting steps.

Please follow the steps to Power Cycle your Console:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Once done, kindly check if you will encounter the same issue. If the issue persists, please continue performing troubleshooting steps on your console.

Please follow these steps but don't worry; you won't lose anything as long as your console is connected to the internet. Please be reminded that resetting your console will remove the accounts currently signed in on your console but you can add them back and you will need to set the account as Home Xbox if there are any.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and Keep my games & apps.

Once done, kindly check if you will encounter the same issue.

The beeping could be the new firmware they added. Yep the vent can be annoying (dust ect), but its cools the system down alot better.

Tbh the vent is worse on a glossy since they are a dust magnet.

I do not know if it is just my console but my DVD drive seems inferior to my old 20GB. This thing makes some weird noises at times. It makes me scared to play anything that is not first installed to my HDD.

Ive had the original 20GB 360 since 2007 and I am looking into buying the 250GB S bc i need an upgrade and more space. But my question is (might sound stupid), if there a new Xbox model coming out anytime soon? The reason i ask this is bc I dont want to
buy the 250GB S if there's a newer model being released, in that case I'll just wait a little bit longer...

In my opinion, there are a lot of differences. More USB ports for more data storage (incase you have a 4GB), it is a LOT quieter. It sounds like a whisper. Very good. Plus, the design is well done. Nice sleek look. IMO, my 250GB was completely worth it.
