    Xbox PC keeps redownloading games


    Hey,

    I have an issue with the Xbox app on PC. It keep trying to redownload Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 UWP Desktop Runtime and

    the Minecraft Launcher. It was working fine a week ago, but I got a 3.1GB update that got stuck on queued at 40% and ever since then its been completely screwed up. I cannot cancel the updates/downloads, neither can I prioritize the installation. Image of download screen

    I'm on a fresh install of Windows 11. I performed a hard system reset less than 2 weeks ago as Forza completely shut down my system and did not let me boot back up other than in safe mode. That is a different issue altogether that's not the focus of this post. Right now, I cant even stop these downloads as it as chewed through my entire 1TB internet plan in less than a day.

    My OS specs:

    Edition Windows 11 Home Insider Preview
    Version 22H2
    Installed on ‎28-‎07-‎2023
    OS build 23511.1000
    Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.23511.1000.0

    I have all of the latest driver updates, windows and nvidia

    Steps ive taken so far:
    1. Already on a fresh system install

    2. Ran wsreset.exe from Run

    3. Reset/Repair Xbox app via Apps and Features

    4. Reset/Repair Microsoft Store via Apps and Features

    5. Uninstalled and Installed Microsoft Store using Powershell Admin

    6. Ran troubleshooters

    7. multiple shutdowns and restarts

    I'm at my wits end, I just want these downloads to stop please help

    Manage network bandwidth for downloading games on...
    Click the Xbox button  to open the dashboard and select Profile & System > Settings > System > Updates.
    Uncheck the checkbox labeled Keep your games and apps up to date.

    Try clearing your cache, and restart your console. Then go to your storage, and delete both of these games then re download them since they became a corrupt file.
