try the following options

Clear store cache

If you can use your Microsoft account to sign in to other apps or services, you can try clearing the cache for the Windows Store on your computer.

Point the mouse to the lower right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up and click Search;

Type run in the search box and then tap or click Run;

Type wsreset.exe in the Run command and then tap or click OK.

Wait for the process to finish.

Register the store again.

In some cases there is a failure in the store files where it is necessary to register the store again.

Point the mouse to the lower right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up and click Search;

Type run in the search box and then tap or click Run;

Copy and paste powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml into the Run command and then tap or click OK.

Test and see if the behavior repeats itself.

Rename the Cache folder.

Press the keys Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the task manager search for the services Store and Store Broker click on the service and in the option End task;

Now press Windows + R and put the address C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Packages\winstore_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState(Replace the <USERNAME> field with the account name);

Continuing, in the LocalState folder, you will find the folder called Cache. Simply rename it CacheOld.

I checked in my machine and I face the same scenario you described.

As the Beta is over, it is possible that they are not offering the client download as of now and this is just some kind of placeholder on the Xbox App.

Agreed. The Beta is over, and the full game will for sure be getting updates before it is ready to play next month, so wait till then is the best option.
