    Xbox PC Game pass - cannot dowload games - Error code 0x800704c6


    I just bought a game pass for PC, because my sister recommended it, and i played some on her computer and I liked it.

    So I was excited to download the same game I played before. But as I tried it kept failing to download. I kept getting the same error message. I have already followed the steps outlined on the support page. I checked the Xbox live network settings. Internet is always connected, and I can never download this game, or other xbox games.

    Hi,

    Are you not able to re-download NMS? If you uninstalled and then downloaded it again, you should now have the latest version.

    Game Pass app doesn't work the same way as other downloading services on PC like Steam, Origin or Epic Store. Game Pass app doesn't download anything itself, it's more of a portal, downloads are completed via the Windows Store, including updates.

    Generally if there is a download issue it will be with Windows Store, not Game Pass.
