Xbox PC Application Fails to Load

Hello,

I am no longer able to open the Xbox application on my Windows 11 PC; the Xbox logo appears momentarily before closing the application.

Event viewer provides the following information:

I have attempted the following:

Uninstalled "Xbox" app via both the Microsoft Store and app settings page, and reinstalled.

Performed both "Repair" and "Reset" options presented in app settings page.

Executed "sfc /scannow" command via CMD

Additionally ran Powershell and executed the following command in an attempt to reinstall/reinitialise any missing dependendencies

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Deleted the cache files located in the "AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentity[..........]\AC\TokenBroker" directory.

Ran "wsreset.exe"

The Microsoft Store does still work; however, game installation of Game Pass games require the Xbox application.

Relevant specs including OS if required:

Sorry to hear you are having trouble using the Xbox app. Thank you for the detailed troubleshooting steps. Let's try to get this working again together. As with anything, make sure your PC and drivers are up to date, and your time is synched correctly.

Try reinstalling the Gaming services package.

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.
In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
Restart your device and try to install the game again.

PC edition, all i did was verify the files integrity through the Xbox application, and it failed.

The application to talk to your Xbox friends from your phone works very well but the PC application fails quite a lot. I have a friend who comes in and every 10 minutes goes out and comes back in, so continuously it is maddening.

I have been failing the application I recommend you or what I do is open it, wait for it to not load and close it from the start menu, open the store and return to the rewards section and already load normal

Have you checked that it is not a loading problem either through the application of xbox for mobile phones and PCs? because it is possible that the DVr page is no longer functioning properly
