    Xbox Pc app wont uninstall/install/play games and audio issues


    So I had installed the newest Ori game via the game pass and Metro last light onto my comp Via this app. After I had gotten into the driveable cart in metro the audio was nothing but fuzz and this problem would happen every now and then with Ori too. I uninstalled metro and wanted to try uninstalling and reinstalling Ori, this is when the real problem began.

    I had uninstalled Ori but it still showed up in the side for some reason (bleeding edge is doing the same, uninstalled but still there) but it still asks to be installed, however, when ever I do install it, the app closes and opens again with the game still uninstalled.

    I have no problems in some other games I've played (Halo wars 1 & 2) and dont know how to fix it. If anyone know how please let me know. Thank you for reading.

    Hi, the game (minecraft) is not installed through the xbox app. I don't even have the xbox app installed on my pc. I've tried repairing and uninstalling the game but the issue does not go away.

    I can confirm I'm having the exact same issue. I can install and play other Game Pass games, but am specifically unable to install Slay the Spire.

    Interestingly enough the Xbox for PC app seems to think the game is already installed on my computer as it displays in my game list within the app (left hand navigation pane). Though, if I hit "Play" nothing happens.

    I've restarted my PC.

    I've uninstalled/reinstalled Xbox app.

    I've tried clicking the "uninstall" option presented to me (since the app thinks it's already there).

    Xbox app crashes hard

    I had tried un-installing xbox app and re-installing it which did not help. I tried to clean boot my PC and tested it out for a while with no issues so when I booted it back up normally I went through shutting some background programs down and testing
    it. When I shut down my audio mixer and virtual audio cable (both by VB audio) it stopped having any problems. I then uninstalled both of them and i'm no longer experiencing any issue so far with xbox app. Thanks for the help, it's greatly appreciated.

    I have the same issue which i only noticed yesterday. One of the games installed wasn't launching so i tried some others, they appeared to be fine and played fine online with PC game pass. I uninstalled the game i was initially trying to launch, then tried
    to download again via xbox app. Each and every time it would give an error 0x00000000001 and wouldn't begin to install.

    I tried to download half a dozen other games, each one gave the same result. I also tried installing to a different drive in case that was the issue. Restarted PC a few times, uninstalled xbox app and installed again, cleared the app cashe etc etc.
