    Xbox PC app uses more than 80& of the CPU making Remote Play unplayable


    This never happened to me before but recently it has been impossible to use Remote Play. Once I start it, the app's CPU usage skyrockets to 80%/even 90%. That causes the app to start freaking out and ends up freezing which then can only be closed by killing the task in Task Manager. Tried repairing it, resetting it and reinstalling it. Didn't work.

    Then, I tried leaving the PC Insider program and install the public version of the app (did a sfc scan before installing it to be sure) and it didn't work.

    I've been searching around, and apparently this issue isn't new. I found threads from like a month ago of people complaining about this issue while playing games installed on the app, like Halo Infinite for example. But it seems this issue is getting worse with each update instead of getting better.

    Hello jcleigh, just to make clear what this is about, are you trying to stream from Xbox to PC on the same network, are you trying to remotely play xbox through your mobile phone or are you trying to play Xcloud?
