Xbox PC app notifications regarding my expired card.

I was wondering if anyone else is getting a notification every time they open up their Xbox PC application notifying them that they need to update your credit card's expiration date in order to use it. Funny thing is, I don't have a credit card on file. I only have PayPal, and the card is not going to expire for 2 years. I tried adding a card to see if that fixed it, but no dice. Is their anyway to fix this, or should I just turn off notifications completely?

These steps can help you, give it a try.

Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.

5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

I guess you missed the part where I said it KEEPS doing it (although that was like... the entire post). IT's like once a week... or maybe it's one of the rare times i reboot or actually turn my pc off. But obviously i close the notifications... it just won't freaking stop. Where's the damn setting to turn it off or even DELETE the damn offer without turning off all notifications for the Xbox "app"?

When i say it won't stop telling me, i mean my pc itself. It pushes that notification to windows 10 and that's what's popping up. IF I go in the Xbox app, there's that icon bell up top. EVERY TIME I open that app there's 1 notification. I click on that, it's telling me i have a free trial for freaking Gamepass. I dismiss that. Next time I open it it's back, there's another notification waiting and it's the same damn one... I suppose I can wait till 7/23/2023 when the offer expires and it'll finally shut up.... /sarcasm

Hi, my friend has the pc version from the xbox app, and as said before he is unable to join due to not receiving a notification of the invite, he is on pc but is using the xbox app to play with me

Thank you for the update.

May we ask if you can check the PC Settings about the notification? Please check this link, you may find Windows 11 and Windows 10 steps and this will lead you to turn on the notification, please ensure that the notification for the game is turned on. If it is turned on then this notification issue could be related to the Xbox app and we may need to report this issue.

By the way, is the Xbox app also launched when you attempt to play the games?

May we know if you are part of Xbox Insider or PC Insider?

Also, do you have third-party apps that may regulate sounds/effects or apps running like antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer installed in your PC?
