Xbox PC App infected?

Bitdefender is not great either, along with most antivirus programs.

It's probably a false positive. But if you are worried, try uninstalling the app, launch a virus scan, wait until it's finished, then re-install the app from the Microsoft Store.

Wrong answer. It's still infected. In fact, the Microsoft Rewards on Xbox app is already damaged by the infection.

Oh okay. I just thought that e.g. if I had a virus on the Windows, plugged Xbox Controller through USB, that then the virus could move onto Controller and then keep infecting other devices from Controller (just like USB Key)... You know, I did read that Xbox Controller is able to be updated, so I thought that it's like any device then that the virus could easily get there. I'm not so much aware of Xbox Updating, so... Or is it that Xbox itself update the Controller and not Windows? I'm confused as actually I know that normal old printer or scanner wouldn't get virus by plugging it to the infected PC, as there's nothing to infect (when it's not a WIFI model though)...

Yeah I might be a bit over sensitive for safety of my devices Just don't wanna mess around and end up Xbox infected too, or plugging Controller to other PC and get the other PC infected too... As there's a Cloud Gaming and I heard that you can connect Xbox Controller to Android too... Would be terrible to get all of devices infected...
