    Xbox PC app has the incorrect age restrictions.


    My Microsoft account has no age restriction (I checked right before making this post to make sure it hadn't changed for some reason), yet the Xbox PC app doesn't even let let me download teen rated games from the game pass. I can't find any settings to change this in the app and when I try to download games it doesn't even give the option to ask permission to download/play, it let alone change the settings altogether. How would I fix this so that it has the correct age restriction settings?

    I called MS Support.

    Known issue apparently, installing via Microsoft store instead works.

    The Microsoft store still tries to download the game through the Gamepass app. So that's not an option.

    Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regard to the same issue. It can be an emerging issue but since there is no official update or information yet, we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

    Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps, kindly try installing games directly on Microsoft Store.
