Xbox PC app automatically logging in to the wrong account and no 'Use other account' option

I have followed all of the above, I am now logged in to windows on my XBox/GamePass account, and the XBox app is STILL logging in automatically to the wrong account.

So, how do I make the XBox app forget the credentials that it's remembering?

Where are they stored?
It's not 'C:\Users\[your profile]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider.........\AC\Tokenbroker' as I cleared that again, so it must be somewhere else?

Think i've finally sussed it. For anyone interested, this is what i did:

• Uninstalled XBOX App
  
• Cleaned registry with CCLeaner
  
• Logged into Microsoft Store app with my desired account (my XBox/GamePass account)
  
• Installed a game I owned (minecraft) from the Microsoft store
  
• Launched the game and logged in with my desired account (my XBox/GamePass account)
  
• Closed the game
  
• Installed XBox app
  
• Opened XBox app
  

...and voil , finally using my desired account.

I'm not sure if this behaviour with multiple accounts is intended or not, but I found posts going back to 2021 with this issue, so it's not a new thing and not something MS have fixed if it's not intended.

If you are listening MS, and I doubt it, just add the option to change accounts to the XBox app in Windows 11 like it is in Windows 10, It's not rocket science.
