Xbox PC app audio not working...

My microphone and audio output in the Xbox Windows app does not work, I also find no option.

Do I have to seriously earn a complete Equiptment (XBOX hardware) in order to communicate with people on the PC within the app?

I'm having the same problem both on my XBOX and on my PC (using the XBOX app's Game DVR). All of my audio problems have only occurred on Rainbow Six Siege, both on XBOX and PC. All other games work fine.

yeah had it too but this fixed it, ive now upgraded to an msi virtual 7.1 USB headset, no issues ever again.

Thanks for your post... I did the test and i can hear the sound... the two boxes were checked. I unchecked them, saved, tried xbox app - did not work - went back in and checked the boxes, saved, tried xbox app again. still does not work. All works
fine in discord so I know its not my cables or headphones are volumne. Checked my NAT and its open (was blocked but fixed that). But still no sound in xbox app. . did you have this same problem?
