xbox pc account not having online set up

That my account is not set up to play online, and I'm on PC

Ok, suppose you buy Minecraft for the Switch, set up a Microsoft Live account on a PC, and don't have an Xbox One? Do you just not get the online play option?

Gaming on a computer or PC has different advantages than a gaming console and all child accounts have been set up with maximum security to protect our younger customers while they game online.

But it's possible change account setting.

So, I have tried to look for the settings on the actual xbox itself and they are not there, the Xbox I am using is in the UK (dont know if this will make any difference). The settings however are online on the website and I have turned them all on there
but it still doesnt work when the xbox account tries to play with a pc account.

Also, after the settings are enabled is it meant to make the setting within fortnite to enable cross play show up, or does it just enable cross play in the background and the setting in fortnite still will not be there.

account, rather than an adult account, and may need their parent(s) to help make this change for them, or to check to ensure that everything is set up correctly for them to enter other worlds in Minecraft.
