    Xbox Password recovery


    I tried to reset my Xbox Password, and I get too many attempts, wait 24 hours. So, how long wil the wait be really to reset the password so I can get my old account back?

    I know it is not my Xbox that is the problem, because i did create a new account, but my games such as Assassin's Creed Origins and Division 2 are attached to old account and I lost em.

    Please Advise what to do and how

    Contact Us page to set up a support call with an account specialist who can take you through your options.

    Hi there! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I forgot both my password and email as well, after months of trying to get it back a user suggested to do the following and it worked!

    You need to create another account. Once you make the account, you should use the new account to login and select “forgot password.”

    Choosing the “forgot password” option will send you a link to fill out some questions and information so Microsoft can verify that is your account, then you need to wait for Microsoft to contact you for more assistance and the recover your account!
