Xbox Pass Related Technical Issues [as of 04/13/2023]

Hi all,

As I stated in the title, issue started today, 13th of April, 2023. I am saying this because I was able to happily play my games in 12th of April.

This morning, windows 11 updated itself. Current version; Windows 11, version 22H2

After this, I was no longer able to launch any game from the Xbox Pass. My download queue stuck, my updates on games queued but stuck. Unable to get new games and unable to launch what I have installed.

Basically, I cannot use XBOX pass any longer.

What I have tried;
I have reset xbox from the app settings.
I have switched to another account.
I have tried to re-install Gaming Services (I think I could not do it because there is no option to install that in Store, but some say that means it is already installed).
I have changed the windowsapp folder admins to my user and applied.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled xbox pass from store and from browser, none worked.
I have deleted the cace of gaming services from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

For some reason, I cannot reset the download/update queue of XBOX PASS. I think I was not able to clear the xbox pass' cache. Maybe if I can do that, that will help.

None of these helped. So basically, I cannot use xbox pass and I am unable to spot the root cause of this annoying problem.

Any help is appreciated fellas.

So I got an update after snooping around on my own, I found that my Gaming Services was actually stopped in services;

I also cannot install it from store, it is stuck.

So currently, I am almost 100% sure that the issue is taking place due to this as the xbox needs this software. But I cannot install it. Tried the resolution provided in the online as using the commands in powershell, they are not working.

Any ideas?

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press Y on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.

Since 7 days, I haven't unlocked any achievements in Atomic Heart. This includes story-related achievements. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution?

I definitely understand your sentiments, while Xbox supports Game pass for PC in your region, as listed here: https://news.xbox.com/2023/04/11/pc-game-pass-n... there's no info yet if it happens to come to consoles.

In your case, it would be best to check news.xbox.com from time to time for upcoming updates.

I have my console updated and the latest update was the OS version 10.0.22621.4074 and the most recent was on the 14/04/2023 and 16/04/2023
