XBOX Pass for PC - Multiple Games Crash to Desktop within Minutes of Launching

So last month I got a new computer (Specs at bottom of post) and while trying to run certain games I find that they crash to desktop without any error prompts within fifteen minutes of launching the game.

XBP games this is occurring with:

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Goat Simulator

Dishonored 2

XBP games that do not have this problem:

Pillars of Eternity

Slay the Spire

Children of Morta

The games perform fine prior to the crash, with a good framerate, and I've monitored all the components and none are becoming notably strained or overheated. Graphics settings don't seem to matter. My computer can run Monster Hunter: World through Steam
on highest graphics settings without problems. So far as I can tell, it's only Xbox Pass games that have this problem (Note: small sample size, and most of my game collection is stuff that could run on my previous computer, which was mid-range back in 2013).
The surest way for me to quickly replicate the problem is to perform a benchmark test in Rise of the Tomb Raider, which always causes a crash before completion.

My drivers have been updated, I've tried running the games from a new administrator windows account, I've tried reinstalling the games, and I've double checked all my hardware connections.

I'm running out of ideas. Only hint I've found by searching is that might be related to DirectX versions, but I don't know how to go about fixing/testing that.
