    Xbox Pass for PC Issue


    Hi,

    I will try to summarise this as best I can and I am hoping someone has some ideas to help me Xbox Pass for PC Issue :)

    Summary:

    I joined Xbox Pass for PC a few days ago. I was able to download 2 games and play without issue (thinking back now, both are Microsoft Studios games). I realised I was installing to C drive so changed it in the xbox app to D drive. Nothing has installed
    since.

    Details:

    - The games download 100% but then fail to install with a 0x80070001 error

    - The files are sitting on my D drive ready to install

    - Have tried putting it back to C drive without any success

    - They (have tried 3 games since) fail in both Xbox app and Windows Store

    - I have successfully downloaded other apps and games from the Windows store since this happened, so its only xbox pass games

    - Both C and D are internal NTFS drives

    - I am admin on my PC

    - I am running Windows 10 Home, Insider edition v19451.1000

    - I am running xbox app version 2001.1001.4.0

    - We found my xbox account was set to UK, but my PC to Australia (I am in Australia) and we have since fixed that

    - I have done a 'clean' boot

    - I have reset the Xbox App in Apps and Features

    - I have checked all updates

    - I have redownloaded Game Service via powershell

    - A MS tech redownloaded both the xbox app and windows store via powershell

    - The last tech then refused to help me because I am on an insider build. I get he isnt on an 'insider' team but all this has been on insider and I really do not believe it is related

    Umm I think that's it.....Ask me anything as I may not have tried it yet.

    Thanks for the help, the issue is with Games pass on PC, not on the Xbox unfortunately.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. This is the case in this. The app is not used for installing game pass games, you need to go to the Microsoft store, or the
