Xbox Party with crossplay

We understand that you are trying to connect to your Xbox Party and get partly disconnected. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

Xbox Party and Crossplay is closely related to network. Now, if you are having issues with Xbox Party it could be cause by network issue. Please check your Xbox Network and see if you have error code or message is your NAT Type Open, Moderate, Strict or Unavailable. In that way, you will have a continuous game with your friends. Tip: You must have a NAT Type of Open or Moderate (making sure one of your friends is Open NAT) and have no issues with network.

You should ensure that everyone you want to party up with has crossplay enabled.

To enable crossplay:

Open Black Ops Cold War multiplayer

Go to Settings

Navigate to the Account tab

Enable or Disable Crossplay

I’m a huge fan for crossplay in general as my brother has a PS4 and it would allow us to play more games together, but I really do like that idea of crossplay parties. Even if they made discord into more of a universal app.
