    Is there a way to control chat volume on Xbox party at Xbox game bar? Changing volume to "Xbox game bar" at sound mixer doesn´t do anything. Some people have an extremely loud microphone and controlling either the whole party volume or each party member
    individually would be great.

    XBox Companion App on PC Party Chat Quiet

    I assume you're using the Xbox Game Bar to join parties? If so, could you try using either the Xbox Beta app, or the Xbox Console Companion app and see if you have the same volume issues? Hopefully it's just a Game Bar issue.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, there is no option to lower individuals. The only one would be to lower volume down. However, the ones that are real loud you can ask to turn down their mic volume or mic monitoring. Personally think the individual
    volume would be a great add on. You can submit an idea at
    feedback.xbox.com     this will direct you to the reddit ideas page for Xbox.

    When you stated that you checked your volume setting, does that also mean that you checked the individual bars for balancing game volume with party chat volume?

    have you tried starting a party and go into that party and checking your audio settings. i reckon you have scrolled all your game volume to mute and party chat 100 percent on the volume bar

    I understand that you are having issues with your Xbox game bar party chat not working.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Here are the troubleshooting steps to perform on your Windows PC:

    Please reset the Xbox Game Bar App by opening Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

    Find Xbox Game Bar, click Advanced options, and then select Reset.

    And then check audio device settings. Press Windows key + G to open Xbox Game Bar. Go to Settings > Party Chat and make sure the correct input and output devices are selected.

    Next is to update audio drivers. To do this please open Device Manager, find your audio device, right-click, and select Update driver.

    Make sure your audio drivers are up to date.

    Then check app permissions.Kindly open Settings > Privacy > Microphone.

    Make sure Xbox Game Bar and the Xbox app have permission to access your microphone.

    After that is to adjust volume mixer. Please right-click the volume icon on the taskbar and select Open Volume Mixer.

    Find all instances of Xbox Game Bar and make sure their volumes are turned up.

    Once done performing all the steps kindly restart your PC and then try joining the party again.
