Xbox Party Invites Redirect Me To The User’s Profile

Based on your description, it seems the Xbox party invite redirect you to the user's profile. This information will only prompt if either the Party is being cancelled/disbanded or the past is already finished.

To further isolate this issue, kindly try joining a different Party Invite and check if you will still encounter some error.

If the issue persists, kindly provide us a screenshot of the error

I did both of those options but it still won’t let me join a party. It takes me directly to the profile page of the person inviting me when I click on the invite but from their profile page I still can not join the party.

Same issue here. Started after recent update to the XBox app. I have an iPhone 14 Pro. Tapping the party invite notification used to join me to the party, now it just takes me to the senders Xbox profile. Any updates? Thanks!

Same here - playing EA NHL Legacy on Xbox 360 - can't send game invites. Can't send any messages on Xbox 360. Can join another person's party by going to their profile and clicking join party, but can't send or receive a party invite. Even if they are in a joinable game though, the "Join Game" option does not appear on their profile, so without game invites there's no way for us to play a game together. This is awful - any fix soon?
