  1. Xbox Party Chat Wrong Output

I like to play Minecraft and use the Xbox Party Chat through the Xbox Console Companion app on Win10 to play and talk with my friends. However, the game audio comes out my headset while the party chat comes through my computer's speakers. I set the output
in the XCC app to be my headset, but this still happens. Can anyone help?

EDIT: I tried uninstalling then re-installing the XCC app, to no avail.

    :)

    Xbox Party Chat Wrong Output

I don't know why...but this exact same thing happened to me too. But I did figure it out.

    1. Press WIN+G
    2. Press the gear icon on the top right
    3. Select Party Chat
    4. Then choose the right audio output device
    Hope this helps.

Why only party chat can go through TV speakers?

    Not game audio, game chat.

In settings, Xbox has an option to make party chat output go through your headset, headset and TV, or TV.

but that's only for party chat. i've always wondered why xbox can't do the same for in-game chat too?

With in game chat, if your headset is plugged in; game chat automatically goes to the headset, with no option to have it output through TV.

really sucks when you can't wear headsets, you can't play socially outside of parties. (in party chat; i use my headset mic, but have their voice output through my TV. game chat has no option to do this, you must wear your headset to hear teammates)

Not able to stream party chat

Make sure you have Party Chat output set to Headset & speakers.

Go to Settings > Volume & audio output >
    Party chat output
    > Set to Headset & speakers

maybe some Settings for Audio, Party Chat and or Changed the Output to HDMi or something else. Check the Audio Settings on Xbox and the Party+ Output Settings. i also had such an issue and it was the HDMI Audio Setting for me.

How to use a microphone WITHOUT using a headset?!

You can go to Settings > Display and Sound > Party Chat Output and select your desired output.
