    Hello,

    When I join an xbox party chat using the xbox app for PC, my mic won't work in party chat. I can still hear.

    My mic doesn't allow exclusive control, the right input is selected. Within the xbox app in the settings, the input that I want to use shows that it hears my volume. When I talk into the mic, the bar in this window lights up and shows me my volume level which means the input is getting into the app. But when I join party it doesn't work at all. My mic works in every single other application and situation other than this one. This has never happened before, and i've already restarted my pc.

    That generic support doesn't really apply here. The problem is with a PC microphone, not an Xbox One microphone. The Xbox App on PC detects the mic and it works if I start a party via the app, but it doesn't work in any capacity on the Xbox One for parties
    or game chat.

    If they did add party chat then it would be a Gold exclusive feature.

    Online play is free when playing on Live on the PC, so they wont want to add another feature for free that Xbox players have to pay for.

    Ugh I have 6 friends with the xbox one and no matter what party chat wont turn on for any of us after day one of using it. My ISP wont open ports because it wont help due to the fact there are 2 360 S consoles and 2 Day One Consoles. So port forwarding wont
    work. But it all worked fine before, This party chat issue and god awful invite system are so upsetting. Why hasnt microsoft put up a notice yet? didnt major nelson pass this on being that he has seen it already
