    Xbox party chat not working error [0x8923106C]


    I have this problem where i can start an xbox party and invite my friends and on my end it says everyone including me in the party is connected. On my friends end though they say i am still connecting and they cant hear me neither can i hear them. After about a minute the party corrupts and says “Something went wrong with your party. Try again later. [0x8923106C]”. I have tried everything from makkng sure all my settings are correct, my network connections have all the correct signs, restting my console. Nothing works, its been like this for aboht 5 months now. Would love to see this problem solved if anyone can help.

    Now that everything is working any party chat I join show me as disconnected with the error code 0x807a1007 saying my network settings are blocking party chat. Was working fine earlier and I have an open NAT

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    This suggests that your friends NAT settings may be incompatible (i.e. set to strict), which will prevent you from joining others. But it could also be you if you are hosting the party.

    Please can you get your friend to follow these instructions too. Please can you both check your NAT type by:

    1. Pressing the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide,
    2. Navigating to Profile & system,
    3. Navigating to Settings,
    4. Navigating to General,
    5. Navigating to Network Settings,
    6. finally, under Current network settings, please look for your NAT type

    Please can you tell me what your NAT types are?

    You want NAT to be open, which will allow you to connect to others and others to connect to you. There is a support article here, with more information about troubleshooting your NAT type: Troubleshoot NAT errors and multiplayer game issues | Xbox Support

    the party chat is still messed , when you get this error you have to try to exit from the party then join it again if this don't work you can try to start a new party chat , i hope they will fix it soon

    FIX NEEDED. Game chat is not working in fortnite. xbox part chat works fine

    Join an Xbox party chat, go to options and switch to game chat. You can then leave the Xbox party and the fortnite party chat should work again
