    Xbox Party Chat is absolutely broken


    Whenever I join a party, everything is all good for about 3 seconds, then out of nowhere without fail everyone but me stops talking and ive been told by my friends that I have left the party but in the app or game bar everything seems perfectly normal (aside from me not being able to hear anyone and them not hearing me.) No error message so im struggling to find the root of the problem, ive reset and repaired the game bar and reinstalled the xbox app but that did nothing. The weird thing is sometimes it does work although not for long periods of time I can actually get into the party for an hour or 2 uninterrupted, but instead someone else in the party will constantly be getting kicked out so I feel like its just broken. Could it be a NAT type issue maybe?

    yeah, seems to pick and choose when it wants to work or not. I too would say its only this past week or so where its been a real problem, im sure it worked a lot better before though it obviously still wasnt perfect. Just moved over to pc a month ago after a good 10 years of console gaming and it really ruins the experience when i cant talk to none of my pals. Microsoft pls....

    same happening to me for about 3-4 days now, restarting my pc seems to help sometimes but Im 100% sure its not a fix maybe just a coincidence as there has been times where its done nothing. try it though, if anyone knows a fix PLEASE share

    Party chat is broken on my end I can't leave a party once I join and it just says attempting to leave party for an hour straight. I'm just using private chat atm but I would love to not have to sign out or reset my Xbox to use party chat again.

    Answer: Can't Connect To Party Chat (Xbox One)

    Wrong. The kinect turns off for chat when a headset is detected. This is proved by the fact that it will switch to Kinect chat when the headset is removed or the controller dies.
