    Xbox party chat doesnt work on the Companion app ?


    I have issues joining parties and talking to friends on PC. The app gives me a code (0x8923103D) along with saying the system might be down. Although its been saying this for months now an my friends on console have no issues ??

    Xbox console companion party chat won't work.

    To be sure, are you using the Xbox app or the Console Companion App? Party chat has been discontinued for the Console Companion App.

    Has far has i understand it the companion app old name xbox app doesnt have party chat or notes for some things like game invites and party invites these are now done though game bar.

    The app itsself is a compaion app for things like streaming too PC checking the store messages

    the double audio im hearing is coming from the companion app on my pc that im using to stream from my xbox. its not from streamlabs. im getting the audio from my xbox and my pc via the companion app. but im using the companion app to use party chat to
    talk. so i cannot mute it because it then mutes the party chat audio and im not able to hear my party.

    You'll have to set that in the Xbox Companion app under the party chat section.

    Try using the Xbox Console Companion App instead. You can use it in Windows and on your phone. It works great on your phone as a hands free party chat.
