Xbox Party Chat Constantly Disconnecting

Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I have the same issue and nothing you guys have replied with on multiple reports have helped. maybe look into this some more rather than giving us the troubleshooting direction we all know and try before asking.

Let me also say. I'm having to constantly do those steps to fix the disconnection issue, by unplugging and replugging the modem and router everyday. It just keeps coming back.

And the Party/Private chat disconnects/reconnects still haven't been resolved.

I get disconnected while playing games about 75% of the time. I'm constantly getting disconnected and reconnected to Xbox live parties. I usually stay connected to Xbox live just disconnected to the games.

If I'm at the dashboard I will still be disconnected to my Xbox live party but usually it automatically connects back.

I'm not rich. I have one ISp and one connection. I am always wired. Although the issue is the same whether wired or wireless. I don't have a headset for my phone and I play games on my PC, so that would be a bit confusing.

This ONLY happens with parties. Everything else works flawlessly. I don't know what I can do. Why is the Xbox app on PC such a mess for me?
