    Xbox Party Chat Bug/Glitch - One person leaves, everyone disconnects


    Me and a group of friends have been having an issue with xbox live party chat where if one person leaves the party for any reason it causes everyone in the party to suddenly disconnect all at once. It's very frustrating and we want it to be fixed asap. Also
    if thers a bug reportinf section in the forums, i'm sorry for posting in the wrong section.

    Party chat should be allowed when playing Dark Souls

    I'm not aware of a glitch that allows you to use party chat but, if you want to talk with just one other person, you can use Xbox live private chat.

    Xbox One Sign In FAIL!

    Okay, so last time I wrote a post, my Xbox One would not load any of my games. It would kick me back out to the home screen. Video can be found here:

    This time, when I went to sign in, it say's "Hi,Craig!" and does not go away! Video is right over here:

    I've had another bug where I was chatting in a party, muted my mic, un muted my mic, and my mic in my party chat continued to be muted. One friend that I know say's his Kinect 2 just straight up died on him and wont turn back on. I have about five or so friends from my town who have Xbox Ones and have not experienced any of these bugs/glitches.

    Went ahead and returned my Xbox One. Really thinking about getting a PS4 now. Suggestions? Comments? Leave them below.

    Hi There,

    If you are in an Xbox Party chat and everyone leaves you will remain in the Party Chat as the host, you will need to manually leave the party chat .

    I'm not aware of a glitch that allows you to use party chat but, if you want to talk with just one other person, you can use Xbox live private chat.

    Whats with all the updates? O.o

    I initially had thought the update was going to be to fix the party chat glitch, IE you join a party and for a few seconds it shows everyone with one name. It was still occurring today, though. I haven't noticed any additional problems since the update
    though and this glitch doesn't particularly bug me. Not sure what the update did/attempted to do, but it's probably something we'll never actually see first hand.

    Well, at least now you know where it is. Still, regardless of whether you started the party, joined the party, or were invited to one, you should ALWAYS be in party chat the moment you're in the party.

    More than likely, there was a glitch or bug that was causing the issues you describe - as much as I hate to say it, it's not uncommon. The good news, however, is that oftentimes, it's easily fixed by switching to game chat and back again. If that doesn't
    work, then leaving and rejoining the party almost always does. It can get annoying to have to do, to be sure, but it's better than having it not work at all.
