    Xbox party audio issues


    so since I’ve had my Xbox one, I had issues when I’m in a party on Xbox Live and my Xbox starts to download an update to a game I already have or if I buy a game to download. While the game is downloading, unless I stay on the Xbox home screen or in a offline
    game party audio constantly just freezes and goes dead or a never ending sound occurs. I have to constantly unplug my headset to get this fix it self and only fixes it temporarily. If the audio is dead I can open party option, switch to game chat then switch
    back party chat. This will continue until the download is complete or I pause a download.

    While nothing is downloading i NEVER have any sound issues.

    I am Using a Turtle beach headset with Xbox elite controller. Happens when headset is both plugged in or on batteries. I have tried used the headset that comes with the Xbox one and the same issue with audio happens.I have tried using other controllers also
    with the same issue.

    I am on WiFi for a connection but average 50+mbps download speed, (I work for cable company as a tech so WiFi has limitations).

    My Xbox controller is up to date as well.

    Side note, while download anything I typically can’t play any online games without sever lag/latency ether.

    X Box One Headset

    maybe some Settings for Audio, Party Chat and or Changed the Output to HDMi or something else. Check the Audio Settings on Xbox and the Party+ Output Settings. i also had such an issue and it was the HDMI Audio Setting for me.

    Party Chat change volume for each person in the party.

    That sounds more like an issue with the quality of your friends mc and less an issue with the sound volume through Xbox. In case there is an issue here is a link that I think will be of assistance: Troubleshoot
