Xbox Parental Control Settings ( Voice Communication )

I have noticed alot of xbox users been getting banned lately and I would love to give some insight in regards to what could possibly be the reason. I would love for users to read the importance of security and allowing others to play on your console.

I would highly recommend users to get familiar with the Family Content as it can help keep a cleaner community.

Below a link is available to see what features have been added , its always great to add your child to the account. Alot of scenarios is kids are using the mic and may get banned temporarily for minor enforcement issues. I just want to prevent that from
happening as we have many options to do so.

I would never let anyone play on my profile for any reason. People need to learn that if you have to ask if I say this will I be banned should avoid it at all cost. If you have to ask that question then don't do it. It is really easy to determine what
is socially acceptable in the world. Being crude and obscene is not an acceptable way to act although so many seem to think it is.

This makes me wonder though about a minor privacy issue. How long of my(or anyone's) conversation(if any), in party, is recorded if someone were to report me(or anyone) for "voice communication" violations? Now while I agree we as a community shouldn't
be toxic/disrespectful I to have noticed this same trend, and so this is why I am inclined to further this discussion with this very question. Also, as it logically follows, are both party-chat and in-game voice audio recorded, or just one?

in regards to recordings on voice control , i wouldnt particular say your being recorded , its more so of users reporting you at one time and for msgs and chat reasoning. just be good communicative and keep a safe environment as some users maybe kids or
minors.

Question: can you communicate with members in voice chat that are on your friend's list? If you've checked your voice communications settings, check to see if someone put parental controls on your system. If they did, theoretically they could have set your
communications settings to limited. Details on what can and can't be limited can be found here :

You can check if your parental control settings have been activated by going into your settings and if it asks you for a pass code than that is probably your problem.

You can see and set the parental controls permissions on the web site now. They do not seem to do anything in game however. The cross play option does not appear in the Fortnite settings after the parental control settings are changed - even after restarting
the Xbox. Best guess is a future Xbox system update and possibly Fortnite update will be required for the parental control settings to be respected.

To see the parental controls for yourself:

1. Log into Xbox.com with the parent account.
2. Click the player icon in the top right to show the menu and click “Xbox Settings”.
3. Click “Privacy & Online Settings”.
4. Click the child account.
5. Adjust “You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text”. I assume setting to “In-game Friends” allows voice and text chat with Epic friends only.
6. Scroll down and click “Submit”.
7. Scroll up and click “Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety”.
8. For “You can play with people outside of Xbox Live” click “Allow”.
9. Scroll down and click “Submit” again.
