Xbox overlay made GTAIV stuck

    Xbox overlay made GTAIV stuck


    I updated to Windows 10 Creators Edition. I think my GTAIV video game made stuck by Xbox overlay. How do I know this? That time when I opened the game I saw the usual green Xbox pop-up, says "Win + G" button. I pressed that to see some nice new features
    which I thought was present. When I closed it the game stopped at the opening animation. Reopening doesn't help, I even verified the game files via Steam. Now it doesn't show the Xbox pop-up anymore, and still stuck.

    Party Overlay Stuck

    If anyone gets this glitch, the way I removed it was unplugging all cords from the Xbox and left it that way for a few hours, then I plugged them all back in and it was fixed. Hopefully that will help you.

    Party Overlay Stuck

    Today Sunday January 21st, I was playing Xbox with party overlay on while it was playing it messed up and now there is this black box where it used to be. I have tried turning off my Xbox, unplugging the power cords and nothin works. It has also caused my
    onscreen keyboard and Xbox notifications to not pop up anymore, I looked for solutions to this but I haven’t seen anything. When I hold down the Xbox button on my controller the turn off console/controller menu doesn’t pop up instead it opens up my messages
    with my friend. I tried re-calibrating my Xbox but I can’t find any way to fix it.

    Please if you can help me please do. I would really like to know a fix.

    Hi,

    after you have started the game, press the Xbox button and open the network setting and go offline.

    If that doesn't work go on the game rile and press the Start button. Open 'Manage game and add ons' and delete the saved data.

    Go online again and restart the console.

    One thing I wish they would sort out in SR3

    SR2 isn't made by Rockstar... unless I read that incorrectly. SR is made by Volition. GTAIV & SR are both great games, both with different experiences. I think GTA is more serious and, in that sense, tends to be more realistic.

    I would say get the disc. I got GTAIV w/ DLC for the price of GTAIV on Demand.
