    Xbox OS and mobile application feature ideas


    1) Notification that triggers on phone via the Xbox app to input text via phone when the on screen keyboard appears on the Xbox. Currently you can input text already via the Xbox app, but the setting is buried and a notification that would take you directly to the typing screen would just make interaction easier.

    2) Picture in picture. Pretty self explanatory, be able to have a window with a video from YT and play a game at the same time.

    3) Media controls on the Xbox Store videos.

    4) A bit more home screen customizability on the Xbox OS.

    5) Ability to add a game to the watch list from the Xbox app.

    6) Function to see all followed games on the Xbox app.

    Hi Maphisto,

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. That code is new to me and also can't find any support articles on this issue. To be honest, that sounds like a network issue where the party's secure connection becomes interrupted and therefore corrupts the party,
    not allowing you to rejoin. The Xbox app on mobile is not really meant for party chat and it still has bugs to this day that are still being worked on. That is why Discord is preferably used for chat servers on PC and mobile, and you can even link your Discord
    account to an Xbox One, so Microsoft has adopted Discord as a good way to chat for gaming. There isn't much in troubleshooting this issue besides re-installing the app and restarting your internet devices to powercycle them. If you have recommendations on
    how to improve the Xbox App for mobile, I recommend posting on either
    Xbox Ideas     or
    Xbox Requests     from the Xbox Insiders subreddit at the top. If you have a Windows 10 PC, you can use the Feedback Hub app to give suggestions for the app.

    Whenever I have issues with the app, I delete it and redownload it. That usually fixes it.

    Good morning, what I recommend is that you reinstall the app again, or you can also erase the data from settings, another option would be to try the same app that is in beta.
