Xbox OS 6.2.9531.0 update issues

I'm trying to update an old beta console to the latest OS version. The current OS version is 6.2.9531.0. I've tried offline updates (OSU2 and OSU1) and all the support steps on MS's website. The key combo (bind + eject) doesn't affect anything at all, but
the console recognises that there's a USB and the update files, goes through a mount screen but then just boots into the OS. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Is there any way that I can force an update or wipe the HDD and reflash the OS?

everything still working needs some interface tweaks more user friendly control looks like they are reading a new update to address issues and more

Yeh I have this issue too, I have it set to download updates etc, but I always need to update my games and OS etc.

Hi

Please be aware you need to follow the offline update instructions exactly including removing the power cable from the console or it will not trigger the process to allow you to carry out an update.

XB1 runs 3 OS's as it is. windows 8, Xbox OS, and a 3rd to manage the other 2. upgrading it to windows 10 would be easy as it overwrites the windows 8 portion (and probably updates the OS that handles the 2) without any issue.

As an Insiders You gotta make a report for all the bugs You see, You must be in Alpha Ring, this ring is the most unstable, but not more than Alpha Skip Ahead, when You decided to join the Insider Program You knew there were a lot of bugs in the preview
OS, You can change another Ring, Beta, Delta or Omega, but the most stable of them is the Omega ring, now it's You who decid which ring You Will choose to recieve updates or If You Will choose to recieve updates like a normal user.

these are all things you know. I posted this here because Microsoft Support told me to. I understand the program, hence why I am in it.

currently the Insider App is broken for me as well. I can game. I just can’t do the other things or report via the app.
