    Xbox Original One Hasn't Been Booting Up


    I have an Original Xbox One, insider build 19041.8126.210608-1700. Friday I turned it on and It was stuck on the green boot up screen and I left it on that for the night when I checked on it, it was doing a system update and it completed it. Tryed to play, but no games or apps we're loading, then I restarted it and now I'm stuck on the something went wrong screen with error E106 and I've tryed restarting and reseting they only get to 6% and I've tryed the offline system update. Any more idea to fix it or do I have a paperweight.

    I believe you need to replace your power supply pack.

    Check the power cord! Sounds stupid but it may just be the cause of the problem.
    At first i thought the issue was the power cord but the brick still lights up orange and stays a solid color. most troubleshooting threads I've read said if that's the case it isn't the power brick.

    sorry to hear. I would first free him from dust (in case of emergency with a COLD hair dryer) better with a compressor. But you should first try

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with powering on your console.

    As stated by litlegrl2000, and Xbox Forums Ambassador iareBRENDEN,
    it might still be worth attempting to test an alternate power supply unit from a local retailer.

    You mentioned that the light of the device stays soild, but what color is it? Additionally, if you have your console configured to use the
    Startup chime set to "On", do you hear any audio coming from the console when you power this on?

    Setting up a Service Order for your original Xbox One would not be an option as Microsoft no longer manufactures these devices, so testing out another power supply unit would be your best option in this instance.

    I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.
