    XBox Orginals Game Error


    What started out as me just trying to kill some time tonight by downloading an old favorite turned into an hour of cursing and frustration.

    I tried downing loading S.M's Pirates onto my (I believe) 360 E and I keep getting the Game Error "The Game Couldn't Start. Try Downloading the game again."

    Redownloaded it a dozen times. Cleared the system cache half as many times and re updated my system once or twice. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

    They wont be adding any more games to the list, Microsoft have stopped working on backward compatibility.

    XBox Orginals Game Error

    Hi, which model Xbox 360 E have you got, if it's the 4gb model without the official 250gb, 320gb or 500gb hard drive, then that will be why you cannot play that game. Xbox Originals games need an official xbox 360 hard drive to play.

    Hi, which model Xbox 360 E have you got, if it's the 4gb model without the official 250gb, 320gb or 500gb hard drive, then that will be why you cannot play that game. Xbox Originals games need an official xbox 360 hard drive to play.

    Is this game for the orginal xbox or xbox 360? If its for the orginal xbox, I do not think it will work. The game might work on a xbox one, if it's in the backward compatibility list.

    I believe that games stopped being added to that list in 2007, and then complete support was dropped in 2010 (as there was one more title added in 2010 which was Cars). Unfortunately it doesn't look like there will be anymore games added to the backwards
    incompatibility list. Sorry.
