    I have had my Xbox One for about 4 years and have not had any issues. Yesterday I was playing and the console shut off by itself and now I can't turn it back on. I have tried all of the online tips I can find but nothing is working. What caused this
    and what can I do?

    No. You'll just plug in and continue to play like normal.
    Its technically a different device with a different OS. How can it swap XBOX's without needing to reformat?
