    Its always worth getting an extended warranty IMO. Especially for first-gen electronics like the X1.

    You won't get an invitation over the support forums. You will need a friend who is already in the preview program to invite you.

    However the preview program is now at around its capacity and is not currently accepting new members.

    Its technically a different device with a different OS. How can it swap XBOX's without needing to reformat?
