Xbox One YouTube hour achievements don't work

All of the "watch X hours of videos" achievements are broken. I watched at least 3 hours of Gaming videos but the achievement progress is stuck at 0%.

I tried the other categories but they don't add to the progress either.

I think the latest update may have broke them.

Achievements Don't Work

I have put a lot of time into this game, and it occurred to me that I have yet to have seen an achievement notification pop up. Sure enough when I checked the Xbox app it showed I had the game and how long I've played, but I do not have a single achievement.

I play on Windows 10.

I'm happy to report that the YouTube staff have been working hard on a fix, and that three of the previously unobtainable five achievements can now be unlocked. This leaves only two achievements that are still waiting on a fix, those are:

- Hipster Kitty (three hours of videos below three-hundred views)

- Quantum Entanglement (five hours from a paired device)

If you haven't yet, https://support.google.com/youtube/?page=start.cs#topic=4355266 to ensure there are no known issues with their app and their achievements. If they confirm that they should still be working, then you will want to follow the steps in our

achievement sticky. There's a ton of troubleshooting there, but if that doesn't work you can fill out the survey at the bottom of the post. This survey is sent to the team that investigates issues with achievements; this will notify them of any potential
issues.

First of all don't worry its not just you...
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status .

Secondly I find when Xbox One has achievement problems like this the achievements that should have popped will usually do so within 24 hours of the achievement system working again. So keep an eye on the status updates and when the system is back working
check your achievement app for the missing achievements. You should also see your progress will be restored on achievements you are still working on.
