Xbox One Youtube, Ads mid video stop playback entirely

Suddenly there are 3-4 ads during a 20-30 minute video, one of which is at the beginning (like always) and now there's some in the middle of the video, and multiple towards the end. I would be fine with this, except that after the ad plays, the video is
set into a permanent "loading" animation and the video never resumes, even after 10-15 minutes of waiting. We've restarted the YouTube app and have had the same results, using a wired connection as well.

Will there be a fix? Preference would be to leave the ads at the beginning of the video, rather than littering 4 of them over a 25 minute video.

Video Playback Not Working. Mostly Green Screen With Heavy Pixelation.

Hi,

Video playback isn't working. All I see is a mostly green screen with heavy pixilation. Audio works fine.

This affects video playback in Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, ESPN (just video playback not the app bar, etc.).

This does not affect games so far (cut scenes in Forza and Ryse play without issue), does not affect the dashboard, or Live TV.

Anyone else having this issue? Any solution?

This issue still exists and hasn't been addressed. Unfortunately, Xbox doesn't have a choice as to where the ads play. That's left up to the content provider. They are given the option to put the ads at the beginning and end or in the middle of their videos
when they're uploaded.

YouTube video playback in snap mode on Xbox ONE needs to be fixed. When the feature was first added, it was really choppy,, and out of sync. The update after that (current) seemed to improve that a little. It's still choppy (though slightly less), and the
A/V sync is pretty much okay, considering the stil choppy video.

Other video apps seem to play just fine snapped, be it live TV, streaming apps, and even throwing HD video from my tablet to the xbox video app (via DLNA). So yeah, only the YouTube app seems to play videos choppy while snapped.

I hope this gets fixed ASAP.

Hello There,

As you have done troubleshooting on the console and it persists. YouTube is a third party app, have you tried contacting them as the videos wont play or stop playing. As most mentioned video playback is strictly tied to your internet if it is lagging or
slow its most likely your connection. We suggest when this happens to do a speed test. Personally own multiple Xbox one X and have no issues with watching 4k videos.
