Xbox One -> Xbox Series S

Hi,

I am about to preorder the new Xbox Series S however, I have my discs from Xbox One and was wondering if the games would still be accessible from my account on the Series S without having to insert the disc into the disc-less console. Please respond as soon
as possible so that I am able to preorder in time.

They labeled series consoles that way for a reason to differentiate xbox one games from series games

There's no such thing as an Xbox One Series S. There's an Xbox One S and an Xbox Series S. That game is only available for the Series S/X, not the One. So if you have a One S, it will not work.

No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

The "One" and "Series" are the console types.
