    Xbox one x wont power up


    My xbox one x was on and i went to play a new game i received called Ark, I loaded the game and was designing my avatar when my xbox one x console shut off, i could not turn it back on with the controller so i pushed the button on the console, it lit up
    and made its noise, then not even 10 seconds and it shut back off, it just keeps doing this and will not boot up. I have power cycled the system by unplugging the console waiting 10 sec, then plugging it back in, as well as unplugging my external hard drive
    from the console and even the ethernet cable. Still having the same issue. The console is plugged directly into the wall outlet. Any advice, i guess i am a little lucky as the warranty still has a month left. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

    And if that is not working Contact microsoft for a repair.

    Try to change the wall outlet or power cable. Does the console overheat? Is it in a ventilated place?

    Try using another wall socket. And see if it powers up. And make sure your connections on the console is all secured.

    i tried a different outlet and i left the console unplugged for an hour, then it powered back up and worked so i started playing my game, after 10 mins the console just shut off out of now where with no warning or error codes and its going threw that process
    again where it will not turn on...light comes on for about 10 sec then it shuts off...and yes its well ventilated there is nothing around it to block any air flow

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue concerning your Xbox's power.

    After reading through the troubleshooting steps that you've already tried, it would seem that your console is indeed in need of repair. I would agree that visiting our

    device support     portal or reaching out to
    customer support     and having an agent help you out directly.
