XBox One X wont play BD or UHD disc just shows HDCP error, and only will play games in HD mode.

are there any xbox one xes reported to fail to do 4k uhd on capable tvs with all tv and xbox one xes settings correct,but will still play hd games, but wont play BD or UHD discs because of an HDCP rights error, I have a Vizio M65-E0 it does 4K UHD @
60fps with HDR or Dolby vision on hdmi one, but my xbox one x doesnt recognize its 4k capablities on that port or any of the other 3 hdmi ports, and the only way i can get it to do 1080p to play games in HD is to choose hdmi manuallly, if i choose auto detect
it changes the resolution to 640x480 and no other resolution is detected, i know it has to be the xbox because my gaming pc connected to the hdmi one has no problem displaying 4k with HDR 10, neither doed my Sony X800 UHD player, i even bought 5 port swicth
that does 4k UHD @ 60fps with HDR on all five ports, with the switch connected to hdmi one, the pc and Sony UHD player has no problem, but the xbox still has the same problem, and to get it to show on the tv when i switch to it, i have to unplug the output
of the switch to the tv and plug it back in, if i dont the video from the xbox wont display from the switch, if i put the switch on one of the other hdmi ports the tv still recognizes the 4k @60fps with HDR from the PC and sony UHD player, because the swicth
has it built in just like the hdmi one port on the tv, but not the xbox one x it still doesnt recognize the switch or the tv as being capable of 4k @ 60fps with HDR, anyone else with this problem and is there a fix for it, and also where do i find the compatible
Tv list for the xbox one x, i found it once before but cant seem to find it now that im actually looking for it.

Ok.make.sure you run the video.wizard.on the xbox

Also you should.color sync the tv

Google the make.and model.of your tv

Fyi vizio isnt the best brand for.tvs and using a switcher can cause latency

Sorry to hear it. Was the console able to play the content before without issue? If so then please try powercycling it by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down.

If that doesn't work then please try a factory reset. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload then and your saves will be safe on the Cloud.

i bought it off ebay for repair, im an electronic tech, it had the update error failure which was a bad hard drive, it has never ran in 4k or played the discs other than that it runs flawless. it actually may have another hardware problem that i need
to troubleshoot and fix, but i do thank everyone for their help.

If you use and external hard drive, you may need to move the app to the internal hard drive to see if that maybe the root cause of the issue,
