XBOX ONE X won't connect to the internet or hotspot

5 days ago i had an issue with my xbox not conneting to the internet. I already resartet the router and my xbox many times but it still won't work and even if i tried connecting to my iphone it still won't work. After waiting so long it still won't work
and I don't know if the problem lies with the xbox or my router because othe devices (like PS4, my laptop, my phone) work just fine.

The error message is "Can't connect to your wireless network" but I tried everything except for the cable option because the router is too far away and for years when i still had the xbox 360 and one it workes. The xbox one x now recognise the router and
shows that the connection has 4 out of 4 signal bars but still refuses to connect.

Thank you for keeping us updated. The most common cause of this particular error message is inputting the password incorrectly. We suggest confirming your network's password by making your cell phone forget your WiFi and connecting to it again. If the
cell phone is able to connect to your wireless network with your password, we recommend entering the password on the Xbox One X with the same capitalization and symbols.

It is possible that the network adapter for the console may need a repair. We would like to make sure the router is not the issue before we suggest creating a repair for the console. Another troubleshooting step, if the previous one does not work,
is to restore the router to factory defaults. This will help the console connect to the router as if it was the first time. Each router has the factory reset button on a different area. They are generally located on the back of the router. It is a very small
button that will be labeled, "reset." After factory resetting the router, we suggest

power cycling the Xbox One X by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. Be sure to let us know the results!

Same thing is happening to me my Xbox one s won't connect to my internet but will connect to a hotspot or being hard wired but still won't connect to the wireless after doing all the steps

Thanks for the advise but my xbox 360 handles my iphone hotspot fine with the only downside being a strict nat which is manageable. The probably with my xbox one is that it won't connect to the internet through the same method as what I was doing for the
xbox 360
