    Xbox One X with 1200p monitors


    Hi, to all happy X1X owners - if you happen to have a 1200p monitor as well, could you please check if the console will output letterboxed 1080p to such display or will it rather appear vertically stretched? I am thinking about getting
    one and placing it next to my PC but unfortunately the monitor I have (DELL U2415) does not support 1:1 mapping of 1080p video.

    XBOX ONE X Freesync over HDMI Monitor Support

    Hello Support, i have any questions about Xbox One X Freesync, so I found this Monitor:

    This Monitor Supports AMD FreeSync over the HDMI.

    So could i can use Freesync on my Xbox One X over the HDMI with this Monitor???

    I search a 4K Monitor with FreeSync Monitor and nobody can help me. I cannot found a Supportlist of Freesync Monitors for the Xbox One x. So, please help me. I am Not alone about this Question.

    How to Force 16:9 Aspect Ratio on 16:10 Monitor?

    I have my Xbox One connected to a 16:10 1200p PC Monitor.

    The monitor doesn't have scaling options and stretches the Xbox's 16:9 1080p output to fit 1200p.

    Xbox One Output:

    Desired:

    Xbox One X with 1200p monitors [​IMG]

    However, the Intel Graphics Drivers in my Windows 10 can preserve 16:9 on the 16:10 monitor with "Maintain Aspect Ratio" option. It adds black letterbox bars to top and bottom of screen, which is what I need for the Xbox.

    Is there any kind of option in the Xbox One OS that will do this?

    It is worth buying a 4K 144hz monitor for Xbox Series X, However you need to make sure the monitor has HDMI 2.1,

    Xbox One X uses HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.0 bandwidth can only do 4K at 60hz,

    HDMI 2.1 of the Xbox Series X will allow it to go to 4K at 120hz, but only if you have a TV or monitor with HDMI 2.1, and a refresh rate of 120hz or higher.

    With the Xbox One X, the max frame rate for most games is 60fps with some exceptions going to 80fps or around there but check your actual monitor settings but as I say no Xbox one games are about 80fps. With the Xbox series, X is where your monitor is
    going to be crisp.
