    Xbox One X wired connection always drops and cannot always be found


    My son and I both have the same model Xbox, both are hardwired to the router. His never has an issue, but I am constantly getting knocked off and when I go to Network Settings it says "connection type wired" and when I go to check
    status either it will come saying "All good" or "Please plug in an Ethernet cord" Yet still won't connect.

    So far I have went through the router settings, replaced the Ethernet cord and had a tech from Spectrum come out to check the lines and signals and he said everything looks good. I have two wired desktops which work fine, sons XBOX, Smart TVs, Cell phones
    etc all connect to the internet just fine. This issue ONLY happens to my XBOX. I have tried unplugging the Ethernet cord and connecting to WI-FI but it won't connect that way either. It does find both my networks just says "cannot connect" I tested the Wi-Fi
    on my sons One and his connected just fine. To further test the cable, I plugged it into my PS3 and the PS3 had no problem going online.

    Am I missing something or is just possibly a faulty One? It's barely a year old and never had this problem until recently.

    I am having the same issue where my wired connection drops after 2 or 3 seconds. When I go to setup my wireless connection it says I have a wired connection. Oddly I was able to download updates with no problems, but cannot play games as xbox live drops
    every time the connection drops. I suspect that it is a software/driver issue as I have no problems with the xbox one.

    Could you post the brand and model of both your router & modem? That information will help us get started. Additionally, if you do an Xbox Live connection test on the same Network screen, do any error codes pop-up?

    Always framerate drops

    I think the best suggestion is, buying a new xbox, or increasing your speed on games, if we are on the sae page.

    I set my xbox on the lowest screen resolution and it runs better. Maybe a problem with my pc monitor?
