Xbox One X will not update on initial startup.

I just had to buy a new Xbox One X because my old one got fried during a storm. As soon as I got to setting up the new X, I reached the point where I had to update the console, and it says there is a problem with the update. I've checked my internet connection
multiple times, and there is another Xbox on the network that connects just fine (both wired connection.) I cannot factory reset the console as no screen will show up, and I can't do anything but "Try again", "Check network connection", and "Turn off Xbox."
All of which do absolutely nothing. The error code is 80072xxx, which after looking at the troubleshoots for the respected error message on Xbox's website, I still could not get to go away. What should I do next, rather than taking the Xbox back tomorrow.

ANSWER: After fiddling around for a little while, I was able to bring up the screen to factory reset the console, which I did and that seemed to help because I was able to start the update. If anyone else has the same issue, that might be the fix to it.

deberías ver si la xbox x es tu consola principal, en caso de que no deberías configurarla como tal, esa podría ser la causa encaso de que ese no sea el problema, haz uso de la garantia, podria ser un error de fabrica.

I'm having this EXACT same problem, but my XBOX ONE X arrived today, this is my first STARTUP of the console and I can't even get to the first main menu of the Xbox because it needs to update for the initial setup...
